The DFE-520TX operates in the 32-bit Bus Master mode, delivering throughputs of multiple megabits per second, with little stress on the host CPU. The module transfers data directly to and from the host memory, bypassing bottlenecks in the system and alleviating the CPU workload. This allows your computer to concentrate on the application at hand, instead of the network operation task.
 
Versatile Functionality
The DFE-520TX single connector connects to either 10BASE-T Ethernet or 100Base-TX Fast Ethernet without the need for any configuration. It automatically detects and negotiates the highest available speed and duplex mode with the connected device for both 10Base-T and 100Base-TX modes.
